How to spot a scam

TrustTails is pre-launch. That makes it a target for impersonators. Here is exactly what we will and will not do.

What we do

  • Post all updates to the official Telegram announcement channel and X account listed above
  • Respond to email from [email protected] — check the sender address carefully
  • Keep all token information verifiable on-chain via Solscan
  • Announce any buying opportunity publicly — never through private messages

What we never do

  • DM you first — on any platform, for any reason
  • Ask for your seed phrase, private key, or wallet password — ever
  • Run a presale, airdrop, or whitelist through DMs or unofficial sites
  • Pressure anyone to send funds — at any stage, for any reason

If someone contacts you claiming to represent TrustTails and asks for money or wallet access, it is a scam. Report it in the community channel and ignore it. When in doubt, verify the contract address directly on Solscan — that is the only objective source of truth.
