Live = Done
If we say something is live, it is verifiable on-chain or linkable right now. No "soft launches," no "in testing" dressed up as complete.
Most crypto roadmaps read like marketing copy — vague milestones, confident timelines, no accountability. This one works differently. Every item is labelled with its real status: live, exploratory, or long-term unconfirmed. We'd rather tell you what we don't know than imply certainty we don't have.
Language in crypto carries legal weight. When a project says "we will partner with X" or "listing confirmed Q2," those words can constitute representations to investors — and they create expectations that, if unmet, damage trust or invite regulatory scrutiny.
If we say something is live, it is verifiable on-chain or linkable right now. No "soft launches," no "in testing" dressed up as complete.
Exploratory phases describe what we are actively thinking about and researching — not what we have committed to deliver by a specific date.
Long-term directions are aspirations, not announcements. We state them so you understand the vision — not because they are agreed or guaranteed. See our Vision page for more.
Each phase has a distinct character: proof of existence, proof of utility, and a long-term north star that remains explicitly unconfirmed.
Phase 1 is about establishing a verifiable, honest foundation. The thesis is simple: a meme coin that earns attention through transparency rather than hype. Everything listed here is complete and independently verifiable.
Phase 2 is an intention, not a scheduled delivery. It describes what we are actively thinking about building — the kinds of capabilities that would make TAIL useful rather than merely speculative. No delivery date is attached because we do not yet have one.
Why no dates? Because we will not set a date we are not confident we can meet. Announcing "Q3 DEX listing" and missing it is a common community trust-breaker. We'd rather under-promise and over-deliver.
Important: TrustTails has no current partnership, affiliation, or agreement with any bank, financial institution, payments network, or regulated entity. None. This phase describes an aspiration we hold — not a reality, not a negotiation in progress, not a rumour with substance.
The long-term thesis is that a token which earns credibility through radical transparency and community trust — rather than through marketing — might eventually become relevant in finance-adjacent contexts. What that could look like:
We describe this phase because we believe in the direction. We label it "unconfirmed" because integrity requires it. If a partnership or institutional agreement is ever reached, we will announce it publicly and verifiably — not through a rumour campaign or a teased logo. Read more about the longer-term thinking in our Vision and Whitepaper.
Knowing how we will and won't communicate helps you identify scams and manage expectations. These are firm commitments about our communication style.
The roadmap gives you the timeline. The whitepaper and vision pages give you the reasoning behind it — why this structure, why this community-first sequence, and what we genuinely believe is possible long-term.
