The fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens is locked in by a revoked mint authority — no more tokens can ever be created. The freeze authority is also revoked, so no central party can freeze your wallet. These facts are on-chain; you do not need to trust us. Trading is pre-launch.
TAIL Network is a separate, independent sovereign blockchain being built on the Cosmos SDK — an open-source framework for application-specific Layer-1 chains. The Cosmos SDK is an open-source framework for building independent blockchains. It handles the hard infrastructure — consensus, networking, account management — so developers can focus on application logic. It is a proven, audited codebase with a large developer community. Projects like Cosmos Hub and Osmosis are built on it. Choosing an established framework reduces reinvention of solved problems.
A sovereign blockchain controls its own consensus rules, fee token, governance, and upgrade path. It does not pay fees to Ethereum or Solana validators. It does not inherit another network's congestion or policy decisions. Building a sovereign chain means the project owns its infrastructure rather than renting space on someone else's. This is the intention for TAIL Network — the chain does not exist yet.
IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication) is a protocol built into the Cosmos SDK that allows different blockchains to transfer tokens and data between each other without a central intermediary. Cosmos SDK chains can, in principle, connect to other IBC-compatible networks. The supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000 and the mint authority is revoked. However, trading is pre-launch — the token has not been listed on any exchange. Do not send funds to anyone claiming to sell $TAIL before a verified listing is announced via our official channels.
We do not have a launch date for TAIL Network and we are not publishing one. Announcing a date we cannot commit to would mislead you. TAIL Network is in development using the Cosmos SDK. Progress updates will be shared via @trusttailscoin and the Insights blog as concrete milestones are reached.
