No hype, no spin. Every question answered with exactly what we know — and what we don't. If something here changes, we'll update this page and announce it through our official channels.
TrustTails is a Solana-based SPL token with the ticker TAIL. It started as a meme — which is an honest starting point for most tokens. The difference is that everything after that has to be earned, not claimed. The project's thesis is that credibility in crypto is built through verifiable transparency, not promises. The total supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000 TAIL, and both the mint and freeze authorities have been permanently revoked.
You can read the full background on our About page or download the whitepaper (PDF).
The ticker is TAIL. TrustTails is deployed on Solana as an SPL token. Solana was chosen for its speed, low transaction fees, and the maturity of its token infrastructure. See our Why Solana? page for more detail.
The total supply is exactly 1,000,000,000 TAIL (one billion). It will never change. The mint authority — the permission needed to create new tokens — has been permanently revoked on-chain. This is not a promise; it is a done, irreversible action. No person, team, or smart contract can mint additional TAIL.
You can verify this directly on Solscan: Solscan token page. Look for "Mint Authority" — it will show as revoked.
On Solana, an SPL token is created with an optional "mint authority" — an account that can issue new tokens at any time. If that authority is still active, the team could inflate the supply without warning. Revoking the mint authority removes this ability permanently. Once revoked, the on-chain record cannot be undone. The supply is mathematically capped at 1,000,000,000 TAIL forever.
The freeze authority is a separate permission that, if active, lets the token issuer freeze individual wallets — preventing those holders from transferring or selling. This is a significant power that can be abused. TrustTails has permanently revoked the freeze authority. No wallet holding TAIL can be frozen by anyone. You can verify this on the same Solscan token page — look for "Freeze Authority: Revoked".
The TrustTails mint address (contract address) on Solana is:

Always verify addresses on-chain. If you see a different address promoted anywhere — in a DM, a Telegram group, a tweet, or a website — it is a scam. There is only one official contract.
No. TrustTails is currently in pre-launch. There is no active liquidity pool on Raydium or any other DEX, and no DexScreener listing yet. TAIL is not yet tradeable. Announcing the launch is something we will do through official channels only — X (@trusttailscoin), the Telegram announcements channel, and this website. If anyone claims you can buy TAIL right now, they are running a scam.
When a liquidity pool is created, TAIL will be purchasable using a Solana-compatible wallet (such as Phantom or Solflare) on a decentralised exchange — most likely Raydium. The process is: fund a wallet with SOL, visit the DEX, connect your wallet, and swap SOL for TAIL using the official contract address to find the correct pool.
We will publish a step-by-step guide on our How to Buy page before trading opens. That page will be the authoritative reference. Do not rely on third-party tutorials until we link to them.
See our Is it legit? page for guidance on verifying any listing is genuine before transacting.
Everything verifiable about TrustTails exists on-chain and can be checked independently:

We can't force you to trust us — and that's intentional. Trust should be built on verifiable evidence, not on a team asking you to believe them. Here is what you can verify right now, independently, without taking our word for anything:
What we cannot prove in advance: future behaviour, ongoing commitment, or that the project will reach any of its stated goals. That's true of every project. What we can do — and are doing — is make every claim checkable. The whitepaper explains the distribution model in full.
Warning signs common in scam tokens that TrustTails does not have: secret mint authority, freeze authority, anonymous promised returns, fake partnership claims, or a fake presale before a DEX pool exists.
Official TrustTails channels:
Scam warning: No TrustTails representative will ever DM you first to offer tokens, a presale, or early access. No one from this project will ask for your seed phrase or private key under any circumstances. If you receive a DM claiming to be TrustTails, treat it as a scam.
TrustTails is structured in three phases. Phase 1 is community-building — this is live now. The goal is to grow a genuine community before trading begins, because a token with no community is just a number on a spreadsheet.
Phase 2 is independent infrastructure — exploratory work around tooling, utility, and ecosystem presence. No specifics are confirmed yet.
Phase 3 is a long-term, explicitly unconfirmed direction toward finance-sector relevance. This is an aspiration, not a current reality. TrustTails has no current partnership, affiliation, or agreement with any bank, payments company, or financial institution. Any claim to the contrary is false. If such a relationship is ever established, it will be announced publicly through official channels.
The full roadmap is on the Roadmap page.
TrustTails is community-driven and early-stage. We're being honest about that rather than constructing a profile of imaginary credentials. The project started as a meme and is being developed into something more substantive — but that "more substantive" part has to be demonstrated through actions, not bios. The on-chain facts (revoked authorities, fixed supply) are real and verifiable. The community is real. Everything else is work in progress and will be shared transparently as it develops. Visit the About page for more on the project's origin and intent.
Nothing on this website or in any TrustTails communication is financial advice. Cryptocurrency is highly speculative and carries significant risk, including the possibility of losing the entire value of any amount you put in. TAIL has no trading history, no liquidity yet, and no guaranteed use case.
Before making any decision involving your money, consult a qualified financial adviser who understands your personal circumstances. We will never tell you to buy, never predict a price, and never claim this is a safe or certain investment — because it isn't, and no token is.
The full token distribution, allocation breakdown, and reasoning is covered on the Tokenomics page and in the whitepaper (PDF). You can also read the whitepaper online. The short version: supply is fixed, authorities are revoked, and distribution is documented publicly so you can evaluate it rather than just accept it.
The Telegram community is the fastest way to get a real answer. For on-chain verification steps, the Is it legit? page walks through every check in detail. For the full token model, see the Tokenomics page.
